¡Hola Familias!
We had an amazing week!! I am so thankful for the opportunities we've had to learn and celebrate this week--from our fun field trip on Wednesday to the Critter Barn, to our celebration of Cinco de Mayo on Thursday, to our trip to Bill's Greenhouse on Friday to prepare our Mother's Day surprise--I am so grateful! I am cherishing every moment with this special group of kids, and I am SO proud of them.
We have had a lot of time out of our "normal" classroom routine this week, but here is a snapshot of what we've been learning:
Reading / Lectura: We have been working on making predictions in texts, retelling the story, and talking with a friend about what we read.
Math / Matemáticas: We have been working on comparing numbers, solving number stories, and using the signs for igual and no es igual.
Bible / Biblia: This week we studied Jesus' miracles of healing the paralytic and calming the storm. We also learned how the paralytic had great friends who let nothing stop them from taking him to Jesus!
Science / Ciencias: We have been reviewing plants and living things, and we are watching the seeds we planted grow!
Immersion Tip of the Week
Listen to some música in Spanish this weekend! We've really enjoyed listening to 123Andrés in our classroom this year. Music is a great way to learn new language!

Important Dates Coming Up
Wednesday, May 11 / Thursday, May 12: Half day (Dismissal at 11:30). Kindergarteners do NOT participate in the Tulip Time parade.
Monday, May 30th: No school, Memorial Day
Friday, June 3rd: LAST DAY of school!
